At The Amiris, we’ve always believed that creativity is powered by people — but enhanced by the right tools. With the rise of AI assistants in nearly every professional space, we decided to explore how the leading platforms actually perform in day-to-day creative, strategic, and digital work.
We don’t use AI to write, think, or strategise for us. But we do believe that understanding these tools — and how to use them responsibly — is part of staying ahead.
Here’s what we’ve experienced so far in 2025:
???? ChatGPT (by OpenAI)
This is the most versatile of the four. From drafting ideas and outlining content to coding support and even real-time voice conversations, ChatGPT (especially in its GPT-4o version) handles a wide range of tasks. Bonus: it can process images and files, and even created the visual chart you see below.
???? Microsoft Copilot
Built directly into tools like Word, Excel, and Teams, Copilot excels at supporting everyday workflows inside the Microsoft ecosystem. For those already immersed in it (like many corporate teams), the time saved is significant.
???? Google Gemini
Gemini is polished and fast within Gmail, Docs, and Search. We found it especially helpful for multilingual writing, translations, and organising thoughts — and if you’re already using Google One or the Workspace suite, it integrates beautifully.
???? DeepSeek AI
This one’s a bit under the radar but showed promise — particularly for logic-heavy tasks and code generation. It’s also strong in bilingual (Chinese–English) contexts, which makes it useful in certain regional workflows.
All of these tools offer free tiers and mobile apps, making them widely accessible. But no matter how advanced they get, we believe in keeping people at the centre of the process. These assistants can help reduce friction, speed up research, and shake loose ideas — but what we say and how we say it is still a human job.
Which tools are you experimenting with? Are they shaping your workflow in new ways — or still sitting on the sidelines?
